Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive skin treatment designed to exfoliate the skin, remove dead skin cells, and eliminate fine vellus hair, often referred to as “peach fuzz,” leaving the skin smoother, brighter, and more radiant.
The treatment uses a sterile surgical blade to gently remove the outer layer of dead skin and fine facial hair from the surface of the skin. This helps improve overall skin texture, create a smoother complexion, and enhance the absorption of skincare products whilst also allowing makeup to sit more flawlessly on the skin.
Dermaplaning can help improve dull skin, rough texture, mild acne scarring, dry skin, and uneven skin tone whilst promoting a fresher and healthier-looking complexion. Many clients also enjoy the instant glow and smooth finish achieved immediately after treatment.
Results are visible immediately following treatment, with skin often appearing brighter, smoother, and more refreshed straight away. There is minimal downtime, making dermaplaning an ideal treatment before special occasions or as part of a regular skincare routine.
A common misconception is that dermaplaning causes facial hair to grow back thicker or darker. This is not true. The fine vellus hair will grow back at the same rate, colour, and texture as before treatment.
Dermaplaning is suitable for most skin types and can be beneficial for clients wanting gentle exfoliation and improved skin radiance without invasive procedures. Treatments are commonly performed every 4–6 weeks to maintain results and ongoing skin health.
